Though there are no particularly difficult segments along the route, the distance is fairly lengthy and there are portions where the path goes uphill. Once you go past Sineom Port, you’ll come across some stairs, and you’ll pass through some forest as well, so it is difficult to traverse through the entire course with a wheelchair or a stroller.

​Jeju Olle Route 16, the Gonae ~ Gwangnyeong Olle, offers a glimpse of the blue ocean spanning from Gonae to Gueom, the Sogeum Ville (salt field) where white salt still shimmers, a calm reservoir where fishermen kill time and leisurely cast their rods, tranquil forests where tall trees cast long shades, the old castle where the Sambyeolcho engaged in a fierce battle, peaceful and simple villages that can be seen anywhere in Jeju, and fields surrounded by stone walls.
