Admission is free, and it is the closest beach from downtown Jeju-si.

​The beach is composed of black sand and pebbles. Like Samyang Black Sand Beach, it is a great place for a day in the sand.

​Though it is not as large as other beaches in Jejudo Island, it is a fairly popular destination due to its close proximity to the city, which makes it easy to visit.

​In particular, the night view of downtown Jeju brings in many people looking to enjoy the night’s atmosphere.

​The area is famous for its silver whiting, so many people come to fish for them as well. Several raw fish restaurants in the area make sliced raw fish out of freshly caught fish, and you can even rent a boat to go fishing or enjoy some reel fishing at the breakwater.
